Mr Bean makes an unexpected appearance

2010 is the year that Spain takes over the presidency of the European Union. A proud moment you would think but it has not Bean all plain sailing.

The Spanish prime minister Zapatero, has been compared to Rowan Atkinson’s character Mr Bean, who is very popular in Spain.

So when web hackers attacked the new website of the Spanish Presidency of the EU it seems that they thought it would be amusing to replace the image of the Spanish leader with Mr Bean

Now we have been attached by hackers ourselves and we know the stress and the hours of extra work this causes, but we can not help but smile just a little at this prank. The site is now back up and running and you can see the message from Mr Zapatero in all its glory. http://www.eu2010.es.
